Place Design Studio

 Our entry has been selected as one of the top fifteen proposals in a national-level urban design competition for designing streets in Mumbai. 

 200 acre of the hilly Moringa valley on the outskirts of Udaipur is designed as a mix of low dense residential, hospitality and cultural uses with minimum disturbance to the natural environs. 

 A conceptual master plan for about 300-acre land on the industrial outskirts of Ahmedabad was prepared as a part of the outreach strategy by the developer during the VGGIS international business summit. 

 Proposal for Ente Kochi urban design competition explores pragmatic approaches for holistic rejuvenation of the Mullassery canal precinct, Kochi. 

 The under-construction Parikh house is a weekend home with multiple courtyards and a 'garba' space for an Amdavadi family. 

 Hospitality design is our forte. Aranya Vilas, Udaipur enjoys a central location next to the City Palace in Udaipur. The resort is designed around the majestic trees in one of the royal gardens. 

 Nagpur Radio Mirchi Thappa Poll rated Ambiance restaurant as one of the top venues. The garden restaurant happens in a large tree plaza enclosed by parallel trapezoidal steel structures that serve as fine dining spaces & bar. 

 Landscape for 'Beyond Square' art gallery foreground in Udaipur employs variegated ground covers, grey Kandla stone & rusted steel. The foreground offers a backdrop outdoor artifacts as one enters the gallery.

 Risa cafe & bar won the prestigious AISAA ( All India Stone Architecture Awards ) for innovative use of Indian stone to create an upscale ambiance. The project was showcased at the Jaipur Architecture Festival. 

 Spa Rasah's warm & cozy spaces are designed for an array of treatments. The interiors exploit ochre hues of fossil stone along with kota & terrazzo floor, glass and bespoke brass artifacts. 

 The studio benefits from vast experience in hospitality interiors that includes several villas, luxury, and premium rooms in reputed star hotels in Mount Abu and Udaipur. The emphasis always is on contextual materials and techniques. 

 Ochre half walls, brown Kota floor, birch ply & wood render an earthy feel to the interiors of a plush apartment at Eon Waterfront, Pune.
